Heavenly Union With Christ

"As was the man of dust, so also are those who  are  made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who  are heavenly."   (I Corinthians 15:48)

Heads and members was a natural one, and does not like that horrible image that Nebuchadnezzar saw in his dream. Head of pure gold, but the belly and thighs are brass, iron legs, and feet, part of iron and part of clay. (See Daniel 2:32-33)  The mystical body of Christ is absurd combination of opposites; members are mortal, and therefore Jesus died; glorified head is immortal, and because the body is immortal as well, for it stands records, "Because I live, you will live also." (see John 14:19) As loving head of us, as is the body, and each member in particular. A selection of the Chief and elected members; an acceptable Chief, and accepted members; Head life, and a life member. If head into pure gold, all the body parts of pure gold as well. So if there is a double union of nature as a basis for the closest communion. Pause here, a devout reader, and see if you can without amazement excited, humbled contemplate the infinite Son of God in so exalted thy misfortune into a blessed union with His glory. You are so mean warning of your death, you curse says corruption, "You are my father," and worms, "You are my sister" (see Job 17:14); but in Christ you are very flattered that you can say to the Almighty, "Abba, Father," and to the Son of God, "You are my brother and my husband." Obviously if the ancient and noble family relationships make men think about themselves, we must whereof to glory in over their heads all. Let people believe the poorest and most hated seize upon this privilege; let not laziness does not make sense to make him neglect to trace the genealogy, and let him suffer no attachment foolish to present the arrogance to occupy his mind to the exclusion of these noble, honor this heavenly union with Christ. Hallelujah, God bless
